Surely one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Pink Floyd has captured the world and has inspired a significant section of the population. Standing as a prominent pillar in the world of music since the 60’s, they have made great contributions to the library of music that will be remembered for centuries. Psychedelic, yet concrete, their works have been praised in the music business as some of the most the most commercially viable in music history.

Most people are impassioned by the sound of the iconic songs from the Southern California Ska/punk band Sublime. They brought a fresh sense of excitement with their performance, and clarity with their inspiring musical craftsmanship. As Sublime grew bigger, they never expected something would go terribly wrong.

After the death of singer Bradley Nowell, the band came to a sudden halt. In order for the rest of the members to honor their talents and fallen brother, they formed the band Long Beach Dub Allstars. This is a 7 piece dub/ska/rock band that plays all over […]

The British Invasion brought us the two most popular rock groups of all time, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, as well as the liveliest debate in rock history – which band is the greatest? These two legendary bands will engage in an on-stage, mash-up duel – a musical “shoot out of the hits” if you will – featuring internationally renowned tribute bands, Abbey Road and Jumping Jack Flash.

“The most unique tribute show in decades,” said the L.A. Times.

“The crowd was on their […]

Suzy Bogguss at The Cave

About Suzy Bogguss

Suzy Bogguss didn’t set out to craft a Merle Haggard tribute record. Some might call that serendipity; she just calls it Lucky.

“Merle Haggard is a hell of a storyteller,” says Suzy. “When I hear his songs, I feel like I’m listening in on someone’s life.” On her new album, Lucky, a collection of songs all written by Haggard, Suzy does more than just listen—the CMA, ACM and Grammy Award-winning singer makes the country rebel’s compositions her own, reinterpreting classics like “The Bottle Let Me Down,” “Silver Wings” and “Today I Started Loving You Again” from a […]

About Cash’d Out

Over the past couple of decades, tribute bands have become big business in the world of concert promotion. And, not surprisingly, the more popular ones are the acts that are most authentic. Such is the case with Cash’d Out (Douglas Benson vocals, Kevin Manuel guitar, George Bernardo drums, and Stephen Rey bass), a San Diego based band, that channels Johnny Cash in about as close a manner to the real thing as it gets.

How can you tell?

Well, beyond critics having anointed Cash’d Out the “next best thing to Johnny Cash,” […]
