Red Jumpsuit Apparatus heads up to Big Bear on March 30th!

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus story goes back to 2003, actually much further back to when brothers Ronnie and Randy Winter first started playing on acoustic guitars their grandfather gave them, but we’ll skip the ‘they learned to play and formed a bunch of bands that ultimately lead them down the path to glory’ bit and jump in where they were making so much noise that it attracted Virgin Records who snapped them up released the bands debut LP, Dont You Fake It in 2006.

By the end of that year the album was certified Gold in the US, charted the singles Guardian Angel and their best known song, the anti domestic violence focused, Face Down (which is also featured in several video games) and spawned four music videos. A deluxe edition was released in early 2007 featured […]

Secondhand Serenade: Awake

By |October 9th, 2017|Categories: All Ages, Alternative, Event, Rock, Shows, Uncategorized|Tags: , , , , |Comments Off on Secondhand Serenade: Awake

Secondhand Serenade is led by California based musician, John Vesely. Vesely began his journey with nothing but an acoustic guitar and a foresight of the upcoming state of the music industry. With social media in it’s infancy, there was little musicians and labels could do to take advantage of it. Now, social media is a major tool for the promotion and distribution of music, all thanks to artists like Secondhand Serenade, who came forward and found a way to tame the frontier.

Vesely released his first album with a brand new record label on an incredibly underdeveloped social media platform. Despite the obstacles, the album quickly became a social sensation. They launched extremely successful tours, appeared on a myriad of television shows, and shot to the top of the radio charts. Now, after 10 […]

Rob Elfaizy is the front man of Dead Man’s Party, the Oingo Boingo tribute band. Rob has been playing music for his entire life, since before he could even hold an instrument. He was a student of the Suzuki method, which is a high caliber system for musical education. He has played violin, classical guitar, and piano. He was drawn to the electric after he got older, taking influences from bands like Oingo Boingo. After Boingo had broken up, he started to play shows their songs as a tribute. It turned out that there was quite a demand for Oingo Boingo music and he had emulated the band well. Rob had been so successful that the original members had heard about them through the grape vine. With Boingo founder Richard Elfman’s approval of the DMP’s legitimacy, they quickly grew into a […]

Visions: A Tribute to What Really Matters

By |September 10th, 2017|Categories: All Ages, Alternative, Event, Rock, Shows, The Cave, Tribute Act|Tags: , , |Comments Off on Visions: A Tribute to What Really Matters

Visions is a high quality tribute band that accurately emulates the music of Rush. While the wardrobe and physical props are the only focus for most tribute acts, Visions focuses on the music above all else. With a rather sophisticated repertoire, Rush’s music is not easy to replicate. Their progressive style will test even the most solid musicians, from the abnormal harmonic and melodic structures to the subtle nuances their song writing styles manifest. Rush’s music is so particular that there aren’t many tribute acts that honor them, much less successfully satisfy the ear of the dedicated Rush fan.

Rush has some of the most entertaining performances in modern rock history. Their fresh and unpredictable instrumental music always keeps you on your feet, with constant changes and twists that the normal rock band cannot compete with. At the same time, their lively and insightful lyrics will encourage you to let […]

Los Lonely Boys

By |May 16th, 2017|Categories: Alternative, Country, Rock|Tags: |Comments Off on Los Lonely Boys

Becoming successful requires a particular combination of diligence and faith. There are risks to take and challenges to overcome in every step of the journey toward the conscious manifestation of our dreams. For Los Lonely Boys, a unique Texan Latino rock band consisting of three brothers, their journey had led them toward the creation of inspirational music and subsequent worldwide fame. However, this success did not come without hard work and perseverance. Neither was it achieved without the simple acceptance that it can be possible.

The father of the trio, Ringo Garza Sr., had raised his sons in a musical household. Garza Sr created a band called the Falcones, and had inspired his sons to take on his legacy. “Our father was our biggest influence,” Bassist Jojo explains. “He showed us all kinds of music – of his music, as well as the music of a lot of the greats.”

Throughout […]
