On Friday, July 28th, we have a very talented musician coming to play at The Cave. J Mann Music performs almost full time all year round playing everything from corporate events to concerts. He has been critically acclaimed by peers and clients as a high quality performer with the perfect energy for a party.
Jason plays popular covers with an authentic twist, and will perform some original music as well. He has played music for many years, first playing piano. When he decided to pick up the guitar, his fan base chipped in and bought him three guitars to kick off the introduction of a string instrument to his career. He has used them well. His take on the song I’m Yours by Jason Mraz is especially impressive.
This event will be free with a full bar. It will also be all ages! The Cave is a family friendly venue with […]
Colin Hay’s roots have established steadily for decades, and the his work still produces fruit to this day. The work he has done in his band Men at Work is only a portion of his accomplishments, along with the 13 pieces of work he has released. He is well known for his 1981 hit song, Down Under, and Overkill featured on the TV show Scrubs. His works has inspired many world class musicians, including James Hetfield from Metallica and Jeremiah Fraites of The Lumineers.
His latest release, Fierce Mercy, explores universal and relevant themes in the life of every individual. Each song taps into the experience he has accumulated the last 40 years of his career. “FIERCE MERCY explores themes of love and loss, mortality, and even the odd UFO sighting, but always with the singular perspective and insightful wit that define Hay’s work.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers is more than just a musical group; they are a cultural icon. The rare style and technique they manifest has stood the test of both time and critique. Anothony Keidis’s (front man) charismatic style of singing reflects a great deal of soulful wisdom. Flea exudes a fun loving attitude and personality the audience thrives off of. Their style of playing is so unique that few can recreate it at the same caliber, except Righteous and The Wicked: a tribute to Red Hot Chili Peppers.
This is a group of four well established and experienced musicians who came together to perpetuate the heart and soul of RHCP. They bring every ounce of passion forged by the original band, and convey it articulately on stage. They are bringing the fire to the Cave’s world class stage on Friday, August 21st! Any tribute band can add the props, effects, and character traits of the band they are celebrating. However, what makes a tribute special is the ability to emulate and perpetuate the energy that made the original band so iconic and meaningful to the listeners. For Zeppelin USA, every performance is a commemorative immortalization of the legendary band we know and love.
Robert Plant is one of the most sophisticated vocalists in rock and roll’s long and diverse history. The nuances and inflections are so unique that most singers, no matter how high caliber they are, fail to imitate it in the same strength and intensity. Brody Dolyniuk from Zeppelin USA, however, can hit it right on the mark. Furthermore, his invigorating stage presence hooks you in as though you were watching Plant himself.
The entire band consists of world-class musicians, all of which add a special element to the performance that […]

WONDER VALLEY >> In the annals of rock ’n’ roll, legendary guitarist Dick Dale needs no introduction.
Distinguished by his left-handed playing on an inverted Fender Stratocaster, his machine gun staccato picking technique and his thick, reverb-saturated sound, Dale is best known for pioneering his signature “surf music” sound in the 1960s, characterized by hits such as “Let’s Go Trippin’ ” and “Misirlou.”
In 1994, a new generation was introduced to Dale’s music when “Misirlou” blasted during the opening credits of Quentin Tarantino’s neo-noir classic film “Pulp Fiction.”
Dale is bringing his showmanship and musical prowess to The Cave in Big Bear Lake on Saturday.
“I love Big Bear,” Dale, 79, said during a phone interview. “We just love it with a passion because I used to fly up there. We love the outdoors.”
The “we” Dale refers to is he and his wife and publicist, Lana, whom he dotes over and spends more time […]
Beatles vs. Stones – A Musical Shoot Out
The British Invasion brought us the two most popular rock groups of all time, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, as well as the liveliest debate in rock history – which band is the greatest? These two legendary bands will engage in an on-stage, mash-up duel – a musical “shoot out of the hits” if you will – featuring internationally renowned tribute bands, Abbey Road and Jumping Jack Flash.
“Electrifying show!” said the O.C. Register.
“The most unique tribute show in decades,” said the L.A. Times.
“The crowd was on their feet screaming the entire time!” said the Idaho Statesman.
“If you missed The Beatles and The Rolling Stones live, here is your second chance,” said the San Clemente Times.
Five alternating power sets with the two bands coming together on stage for an amazing encore makes this show a once-in-a-lifetime event.
About Dick Dale
The Dick Dale Phenomenon. His style is something different and unique. Since his first appearances Balboa, Ca. at the famed Rendezvous Ballroom, he has set and broken attendance records everywhere he’s performed. His appearances at the Rendezvous Ballroom broke every existing record for the Ballroom by drawing capacity crowds of over four thousand screaming dancing fans every weekend each night down on the Balboa peninsula.
Dick Dale invented surf music in the 1950’s. Not the ’60’s as is commonly believed. He was given the title “King of the Surf Guitar” by his fellow surfers with whom he surfed with from sun-up to sun-down. He met Leo Fender the guitar and amplifier Guru and Leo asked Dale to play his newly creation, the Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar. The minute Dale picked up the guitar, Leo Fender broke into uncontrolled laughter and disbelief, he was watching Dale play a […]
