Ozomatli at The Cave

By |January 12th, 2016|Categories: All Ages, Reggae, Shows, The Cave||Comments Off on Ozomatli at The Cave

PLACE IN THE SUN, the eighth album by multi-genre, multi-cultural Grammy winning band Ozomatli, takes the band’s street-party consciousness to new heights of eclecticism. Produced by the band and long-time friend, world renowned engineer Robert Carranza and featuring collaborations with the legendary Eurythmics guitarist Dave Stewart and Xandy Barry of WAX LTD, PLACE IN THE SUN is just the latest proof of the band’s relentless vitality. Shifting gears from electro-cumbia to garage rock, hip-hop, and Pérez Prado mambo, Ozomatli infuses a DJ party mix with dynamic live band chops and attitude.

Bursting onto the L.A. stage with their first eponymously titled album in June 1998, Ozomatli capitalized on being the talk of the live music scene, particularly their show-stopping gigs at venues such as Dragonfly, Opium Den and The Viper Room. By 1999, they were touring with Carlos Santana and soon won the Grammy for “Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album” […]

Wild Child – Dave Brock’s Doors Experience is the Los Angeles based act with over 20 solid years of world tour experience and has flourished in the competitive L.A. Music Scene. Faithfully re-creating a live Doors Concert on stage. The Band also utilizes the same musical instruments live as The Doors did over 40 years ago. Wild Child performs internationally, playing to packed venues around the globe.

    Buckcherry at The Cave

By |December 22nd, 2015|Categories: Rock, Shows||Comments Off on Buckcherry at The Cave

    About Buckcherry

Buckcherry aren’t afraid to push buttons. This is the band that vaulted to stardom on the dangerous and dirty fuel of the 1999 smash “Lit Up” from their gold-selling self-titled debut. Every time it plays to this day, somebody’s clothes come off—and that’s a fact. These are also the boys behind the rousing, raucous, and raunchy “Crazy Bitch” off 2006’s 15, which turned them into a multi-platinum phenomenon and a household name. Lest we forget, 2013’s Confessions, a bold and brave concept album tackling the seven deadly sins and courting controversy head-on with razor sharp riffing and pensive, poetic lyricism. So, it only makes sense that 2014 would see them unleash their most audacious audio statement yet—the Fuck EP.
For years, the band—Josh Todd [vocals], Keith Nelson [guitar], Stevie D. [guitar], Xavier Muriel [drums], and Kelly LeMieux [bass]—wanted to put out an EP.

“We’ve been throwing around the idea […]
