ONE OF THE GREATEST SYNTH ELECTRO-POP BANDS OF ALL TIME
This Los Angeles-based synth pop group, founded by bassist John Crawford, singer Terri Nunn, and keyboard player David Diamond, made its first national impression with the provocative single “Sex (I’m A…)” from the gold-selling debut EP Pleasure Victim in 1982. The group was filled out by guitarist Rick Olsen, keyboard player Matt Reid, and drummer Rob Brill. Berlin’s first full-length LP was the gold Love Life in 1984. In 1985, the group was pared down to a trio of Crawford, Nunn, and Brill. Berlin topped the charts in 1986 with the single “Take My Breath Away,” the love theme from the Tom Cruise movie Top Gun.
Nunn left for a solo career in 1987, and Crawford and Brill teamed up in the Big F. In 1999, the band reunited to record some new studio material and also performed a concert, which, along with the new songs, was released as 2000’s Berlin Live: Sacred and Profane. This was followed a year later by a flurry of recording sessions that included co-writing tracks with Billy Corgan, among others. The end result, Voyeur, was their first full-length studio release in over 15 years.

~ About Andrew McMahon ~
For most of the 2000s, pianist and singer/songwriter Andrew McMahon fronted the alt-rock group Something Corporate before segueing into a poppy solo project titled Jack’s Mannequin, which featured guest appearances by many of his talented musician friends. In 2013, he released his first collection of music under his own surname, The Pop Underground EP. Maintaining his usual warm, upbeat vibe, this was the first of McMahon’s records to rely predominantly on electronics and synthesizers. His full-length debut, released eponymously under the Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness moniker, arrived the following year. McMahon went out on tour with Weezer and Panic! At the Disco during the summer of 2016, and afterward released the single “Fire Escape.” It was the first taste of his second album, Zombies on Broadway, which arrived in February 2017. McMahon wasted little time in heading back to the studio, returning in late 2018 with album number three, Upside Down Flowers.

Event Details
Yachtley Crew is a Los Angeles area based band of talented and tenured musicians with a common set of goals: to entertain music lovers with some of the greatest songs ever written back in the late 70’s and early 80’s, and to have as much fun as possible while performing those hits. Some fans may know it as “soft rock”, others may identify it as “yacht rock”, a more recently coined phrase. One thing is for sure, Yachtley Crew takes their sound very seriously. “They pay tribute to the songs by nailing the performances, but also blow the crowds away with their live presence, group banter and on-stage antics”, said one scribe…
Be sure not to miss this first-class tribute coming soon to a venue, club or yacht cruise near you!

Event Details
Mickey Avalon’s life story plays out like an episode of VH1′s ‘Behind The Music,” marred by personal tragedy, triumphs and immense pain. Avalon’s back-story begins on the streets of Hollywood, California. Raised by his heroin-addicted father, he began selling pot at a young age, a trade he acquired from his mother. In an attempt to clean up his act, Mickey converted to Orthodox Judaism in his late teens, an effort that didn’t last due to constant family tragedy, such as his father’s death in a tragic drunk driving accident.
By his early 20s, Mickey had married, had a daughter, and moved out of California, relocating to Portland, Oregon. The serine surroundings of the Pacific Northwest couldn’t hide Mickey from his past for long, as his drug addled Hollywood lifestyle caught up with him in the form of an uncontrollable heroin addiction. As his life neared rock bottom, Mickey found himself broke, divorced, and turning to prostitution, just to support his smack habit. With a desire to once again get his life back on track, Avalon moved in with his sister, and the pair set out on the road to recovery. Tragedy struck again when his sister relapsed, and died from a heroin overdose.
After the deaths of both his father and sister, Mickey decided that he wanted more out of life, moved back to Los Angeles, and chose to make one final attempt to clean up his act. Shortly after his return, Mickey was befriended by ex-MTV VJ Simon Rex (aka Dirt Nasty), who encouraged Avalon to pursue his passion of hip-hop and even collaborated with him on some tracks. At the time, Avalon was staying in a sober living facility and had a strict curfew, so Dirt Nasty began passing out Mickey’s demo at Hollywood clubs, which helped Mickey develop a following among fans of the Los Angeles nightclub scene.
As Mickey’s popularity grew, he began to sell out clubs throughout California with his legendary live show. Soon after Interscope Records took notice of the guerilla promotions tactics and signed Avalon to the label in 2005. Through Interscope, Avalon released his now classic self-titled debut album, which showcased his unique rhyming style and indulgent lyrics. Inspired by his experiences on the streets with drugs and prostitution, the raw honesty of his songs immediately resonated with audiences. Fan favorites “Jane Fonda,” “Mr. Right” and “My Dick” quickly spread across the internet and mainstream radio, turning Mickey Avalon into a household name. Avalon quickly took to the road and was performing sold-out shows alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Travis Barker and DJ AM, Snoop Dogg, Stephen Marley and Slightly Stoopid.
Mickey’s contagious demeanor and unique writing style has made him a hot commodity in the music industry as hip-hop artist Young Jeezy and producer Jermaine Dupri jumped at the chance to collaborate with him for a Boost Mobile commercial. Avalon then joined forces with rock acts the Happy Mondays, and Unwritten Law, with whom he co-wrote the radio hit “Shoulda Known Better”. His music has been featured in countless movies and television series including the HBO’s series Hung, the animated series American Dad, the Duke Nukem Forever video game, Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay and most recently in the trailers for the Cameron Diaz film “Bad Teacher.”

THE EXPENDABLES
For eighteen years The Expendables have been bringing their perspective to the world of reggae rock. Instead of following the traditional cookie-cutter blend of reggae, punk, ska and hip-hop commonly replicated in the genre, The Expendables have perfected their own unique approach of face-melting solos, mind-bending jams and danceable grooves, blurring the lines of where one genre ends and another begins.
Hailing from shores of Santa Cruz, California, three quarters of this four piece met in the halls of Soquel High. After high school Adam Patterson (Drums/Vocals), Raul Bianchi (Lead Guitar/Keys) and Geoff Weers (Guitar/Vocals) would part ways from their high school bass player and in 1999 the band would enlist hometown native Ryan DeMars (Bass), bringing new influence to the band’s stage presence and their songwriting process.
Once the new line up was solidified, the band worked tirelessly playing shows regionally as well as recording and self-releasing three albums, No Time To Worry (2000), Open Container (2001) and Gettin’ Filthy (2004). This determined work ethic would capture the attention of Slightly Stoopid front men and Stoopid Records label owners Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald. Doughty and McDonald would take a strong interest in the band, first taking them on tour supporting Slightly Stoopid’s shows, then signing The Expendables to Stoopid Records, releasing the label’s first non Slightly Stoopid release, 2007s self-titled The Expendables. In 2010 the partnership would also produce Prove It, staking the bands claim as one of the genre’s heavy hitters.
Three years after Prove It the band would start tracking at JingleTown Recording, a bay area studio owned by the members Green Day. The beautiful studio would be used for two recording sessions, one in 2013 and one in 2014 setting the stage for the bands new release.
On January 13, 2015 The Expendables dropped Sand In the Sky to a hungry fan base excited for the bands new album. Fans immediately responded, loving the new tracks and gravitating toward the hypnotic Starry Night, dance-friendly jam Music Move Me as well as Nothing I Wouldn’t Do bringing a slight blend of the bands older sound back into the mix.
The band has taken no down time jumping straight out on 2015’s Winter Blackout Tour currently traveling across the country jamming to large crowds everywhere. With a date slated on this Summer’s Wakarusa festival and plenty of touring plans in the work this is going to be another great year for The Expendable
Thirteen years later, five albums down and countless miles covered The Expendables show no signs of slowing down.

WYNONNA & THE BIG NOISE:
Respected by the millions of fans who are drawn to her music and undeniable talent, Wynonna’s rich and commanding voice has sold over 30-million albums worldwide spanning her remarkable 34-year career. As one-half of the legendary mother/daughter duo “The Judds,” Wynonna was once dubbed by Rolling Stone as “the greatest female country singer since Patsy Cline.” This iconic performer has received over 60 industry awards, with countless charting singles, including 20 No.1 hits such as “Mama He’s Crazy,” “Why Not me,” and “Grandpa, (Tell Me ‘Bout The Good Ole Days).”
Wynonna and her band The Big Noise, led by her husband/drummer/producer, Cactus Moser, released their debut full-length album in February 2016 via Curb Records to critical acclaim. Wynonna has described the new sound as “vintage yet modern” and a “return to the well.” It’s a rootsy work encompassing country, Americana, blues, soul and rock. The album features special guests Derek Trucks, Jason Isbell, Susan Tedeschi and Timothy B. Schmit. NPR’s Ann Powers noted that, “With her tight band behind her after touring together for several years, she just sounds like she’s home…You can just feel the grin on her face.”

Event Details
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Dave Brock left Northern California in the 1980s to attend school at Long Beach State University.
While in college, Dave landed the lead role in The Jim Morrison Rock Opera as the poetically tragic lead singer of The Doors. The late singer’s sister, Anna Morrison Graham, and her husband Allan produced the production. Before the production’s debut, Brock was featured in many major publications including: Rolling Stone Magazine, The Los Angeles Times Calendar and Bam Magazine. There was quite a buzz in the industry about this production and Dave proved to be quite a good vocalist and performer when the production was ready for the public.
After the conclusion of Rock Opera, Dave formed his own live musical stage show performing the music of The Doors called “Wild Child.” The live concert show landed at the world famous Whisky a-go-go on the sunset strip on July 3rd, 1986. It was a triple sellout on its very first night. Reviews poured in calling this new show a “must see”.
The LA Times said, “Wild Child is a winner! What’s amazing is that vocalist Dave Brock sings like Morrison, enough to imperil the snowflake analogy about no two sets of vocal chords to be able to produce the exact same vocal tone.” The Daily Bulletin said “Brock, who bears more than a passing resemblance, evokes the Morrison persona without being forced.” Jim Ladd, the famous Los Angeles KLOS FM radio DJ and Rock and roll critic described Wild Child to his listeners. “These Guys are excellent, not a cartoon version of The Doors but a very loving and respectful, accurate and well done tribute to The Doors.”
Since Wild Child debuted, the act has been touring and playing at sold out national act venues and festivals around the world. Wild Child became the mold that “tribute bands” aspired to become, as they flooded the market in the 1990’s with good and bad impersonations of famous artists.
In 1992, Brock was also noticed by film Director and Producer Robert Zemeckis and played the part of Jim Morrison in the comedy film “Death Becomes Her.”
In 2010 Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors, invited Dave to tour with them as their vocalist on their concert engagements. This was perhaps the best compliment Dave has ever received from anyone for his work. He presently tours with them.
In recent years, Dave has picked up the game of golf and has become a low handicapper. Dave’s interest in the game has also led him into avenues of Charity and Pro-Am Golf events. Dave participated in The Bill Clinton Humana Challenge Pro-Am PGA Tour in 2013 at PGA West, The Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament for St Jude Kids and The Scott Medlock – Robby Krieger St. Jude Invitational.
Dave currently resides with his family in Southern California, tours with Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors and with Wild Child.

Event Details
Raised on the beaches of Southern California, Aaron Smith is a rapper, actor, musician, and father who became known to the world simply as Shwayze following a massive music breakout in 2008.
The Malibu native released his debut album Buzzin’ that summer with singer-producer Cisco Adler. The duo hit the road immediately on the Vans Warped Tour wearing skinny jeans, and singing about lost weekends in Hollywood, all while bringing the most legendary parties with them wherever they went.
Shwayze has since gone on to work with an array of producers and release several independent albums such as Shwayze Summer on his self-funded Feel Good Entertainment Music label. He continues reinventing his sound while staying true to the influences that brought him where he is today.
The past decade has boasted an impressive resume including a top 10 album, Billboard chart topping singles including ‘Buzzin’ and ‘Corona & Lime,’ a rock-doc reality show on MTV, and a number of roles in feature films and major network television- all while living on the road much of the year touring the world.
Shwayze continues to play more than 200 shows a year and with each year he finds new territories and fanbases to connect with.
Summer 2019 will mark the highly anticipated return of Shwayze’s next full length EP, a project fans have been anxious for and will mark the next chapter of a storied career.

“Some people are impressionists. These guys leave an impression”. Says Bill Miller, owner of Johnny Cash.com about Cash’d Out (Douglas Benson vocals, George Bernardo drums, John Heussenstamm guitar, Nate Lefranchi bass), a San Diego based band that channels Johnny Cash in about as close a manner to the real thing as it gets.
After thirteen years, traveling hundreds of thousands of miles on the road and winning over as many fans, fans who still continually tell the group how grateful they are that Cash’d Out so rightously carries the torch of the Johnny Cash Show.
Besides music critics anointing Cash’d Out as “the next best thing to Johnny Cash”, their highlights have been many:
W.S. Holland, Johnny Cash’s longtime drummer, has sat in with Cash’d Out; front man, Douglas Benson, has played Johnny’s cherry sunburst Guild guitar (courtesy of Mr. Miller); “Cindy Cash came to a show and was moved to give me a glass locket that was her father’s,” explains Benson; Longtime Johnny Cash manager Lou Robin has also been to several Cash’d Out shows and claimed that if he closed his eyes it was as if “going back in time.”; And most recently, an unforgettable evening performing the music of Johnny Cash with the San Diego Symphony as a special event for their Summer Pops Series.
The band’s live shows respectfully reference the late, great Man in Black’s Sun Records and early Columbia era sound, combined with the energy of the classic multi-platinum live recordings from Folsom Prison and San Quentin. The group’s genuine love (and authentic recreation) of Johnny Cash’s music and its universal appeal fans of all ages and of virtually all musical genres makes each Cash’d Out show a must-see event.
Or as Bill Miller says, “Some people are impressionists. These guys leave an impression.”

Event Details
From early days growing up in the southeast Los Angeles suburb of Downey, California under the tutelage of T-Bone Walker and Big Joe Turner to their emergence as central figures in the eclectic LA punk/rock scene of the early ‘80s to their current status as internationally-renowned influences in their own right, the Blasters have spent their lives exploring and expressing the deep and diverse musical legacy that is best described by the title of their first album: American Music.
A performance by today’s Blasters––vocalist-guitarist Phil Alvin, drummer Bill Bateman, bassist John Bazz, and guitarist Keith Wyatt––reflects influences that range from George Jones and Carl Perkins to Howlin’ Wolf, James Brown and Bo Diddley. The band’s 1980 debut album American Music (Rollin’ Rock) was a powerful collection of fresh, distinctive performances that shattered the artificial boundaries between blues, rockabilly, country, R&B and rock & roll. The next three albums for Slash/Warner Bros. (The Blasters, Non-Fiction, and Hard Line) increasingly featured the unique songwriting voice of original guitarist Dave Alvin as the band’s lineup expanded to include pianist Gene Taylor plus saxophonists Steve Berlin and New Orleans legend Lee Allen (“the man who put a saxophone in rock & roll”). As the Blasters’ fame grew, they began to draw accolades from artists as diverse as Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton and Queen, and in turn the band encouraged and supported still up-and-coming LA musical peers such as Dwight Yoakum and Los Lobos
In 1986, Dave Alvin left the band to pursue a solo career, and over the next decade a series of renowned guitarists including Billy Zoom, Michael “Hollywood Fats” Mann, Greg “Smokey” Hormel, and James Intveld filled the position. Phil Alvin simultaneously expanded his own musical efforts with the release of two acclaimed solo albums, Unsung Stories(Slash/Warner) in 1986 and County Fair 2000 (Hightone) in 1994.
In 1996, current guitarist Keith Wyatt joined the lineup and the Blasters continued touring steadily in the US and Europe before returning to the studio in 2004 to record 4-11-44 (Rainman). After the departure of drummer Jerry Angel, the band reunited with original member Bill Bateman and subsequently released their 2012 CD Fun on Saturday Night (Rip Cat). Meanwhile, the Blasters’ catalog was renewed with reissues of American Music along with two Slash/Warner compilations (Testament and The Blasters Collection) and the live recordings Trouble Bound and Going Home Live (Shout Factory).
Blasters shows have been described as “a cross between Creedence and the Clash,” with a display of passion and energy only deepened by decades of experience. For all of the ways in which the world has changed in the past few decades, one thing is still guaranteed: the Blasters play American Music.

Event Details
There is little doubt among the pure rock community that the legendary band Queen and lead performer Freddie Mercury earn high ranks as one of the most powerful and iconic groups in rock history. Queen, the kings of arena rock, performed to packed stadiums around the globe for over two decades. Freddie took showmanship by a rock front man to a new untapped level and was undisputedly crowned the lord of arena rock. He mesmerized audiences with his charismatic energy and larger than life stage persona. Upon his death in 1991, a huge void was left in the rock concert world, which to this day has not yet been matched. Queen Nation, a tribute to Queen, was formed in 2004. Queen Nation consists of: Gregory Finsley on vocals & keyboards as Freddie Mercury, Mike McManus on guitar as Brian May, Pete Burke on drums as Roger Taylor, and Parker Combs on bass as John Deacon. The mission of the show is to carry on the musical torch and pay homage to the golden age of vintage Queen concerts.Queen Nation’s live 90-minute production of Queen’s greatest hits preserves the image, sound, and stage persona of vintage Queen. Audiences are amazed at the accuracy of Queen Nation’s live retrospective journey through such Queen songs as We Will Rock You – Bohemian Rhapsody – We Are The Champions – Crazy Little Thing Called Love – You’re My Best Friend – Another One Bites The Dust – Under Pressure and many more. They have performed in front of thousands of people at casinos, fairs, festivals and private affairs. |

MIKE McMANUS – GUITAR / VOCALS Born and raised in the suburbs of Boston and weaned on his Dad’s Beatles albums at an early age, Mike could sing every song on the Sgt. Pepper’s album by the age six. It was there he acquired a taste for melodic 70’s arena rock bands such as Queen and Cheap Trick. After High School, Mike enrolled in Berklee College of Music. He soon left Boston for Los Angeles, and began sowing the seeds for what would become the hard rock band, EGODOG EGODOG released three critically acclaimed albums between 1997 and 2001, and traveled abroad each year performing for the U.S. Department of Defense. These very successful tours entertaining our troops took them to such far away countries as Japan, Bosnia, Kosovo and Hungary. In 2003, Mike created the musically animated Uncle Moondog, a scruffy-looking terrier who lives on the beach, sings songs and drives a dune buggy. (Check out www.unclemoondog.com) He wrote, recorded and released the 10-song “Uncle Moondog” CD in December 2003, and has received rave reviews across the country and spanning as far as the U.K. and Japan. In 2004, Mike got a call from singer Joe Retta to complete the line-up for Queen Nation. Looking at it as a labor of love, Mike buckled down and began learning all the guitar parts and transcribing all the harmonies. Not an easy task! Mike stated “I didn’t think I could gain any more respect for Brian May and Queen than I already had… My respect for them DOUBLED when I sat down to learn these songs!” His hard work led to an endorsement with Burns Guitars, maker of the Brian May model. Add to that Mike’s dead-on Brian May mannerisms and accurate stage attire, and you’d swear you were at the L.A. Forum in 1980! |

GREG FINSLEY – VOCALS / PIANO
Gregory Finsley has been influenced by music’s greatest heroes since he could turn a radio dial as a child! Having been educated from middle school through high school, jazz and marching bands in Dallas, TX Gregory took up percussion at age 11 and never stopped. His desire to multitask became an easy habit early in life wanting to sing and play the drum set simultaneously and later the piano. Mixing rock, blues, swamp pop, country, and other styles of music in bands, Gregory has played with great musicians in New Orleans since he arrived in 1995. He even played Bourbon St. at the famous Tropical Isle with “Late As Usual” on a weekly basis. Strangely enough, Gregory’s first ever rock concert was Dec, 10, 1977 at Tarrant County Convention Center to see Queen perform being almost 12 years old! Watching the black crown raise up with the mist and smoke, lights and band, he decided he wanted to be a performer no matter what. Aside from his original recordings, Gregory has recorded and performed with many guitarists, piano players, and other vocalists such as John Autin of New Orleans, LA Craig Wallace of Dallas, TX Gary King of New Orleans, LA and even some corporations wanting Queen tunes specialized with different lyrics. His first Queen Tribute (Queen For A Day) was started in Dallas, TX in 2001 by Brian Harris, an outstanding guitarist with a long list of credentials to his name. Gregory, having a cousin living in Los Angeles, introduced him to Queen Nation in 2007 and created an extra push in his musical endeavors, which is now the top performing Queen Tribute in North America. Gregory’s taste in vocalists, artists, and groups include Stevie Wonder, Police, Tony Bennett, Carly Simon, Ronnie James Dio, James Taylor, Yes, Cab Calloway, Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney, Chrissie Hynde, Gene Krupa, David Bowie, Beatles, Frank Sinatra, The Rolling Stones, CSNY, Badfinger, The Cars, Eric Johnson, Carole King, and the list goes on. |
